Long-Term Care Sales Manager

Responsible for proactively contacting existing and potential producers/Agencies to increase long term care insurance sales.  Establishes sales plan and identifies ways to increase sales. Conducts outbound telephone calls, follows-ups on meetings conducted by Territory Sales Managers and performs sales presentations.  Set up appointments, prospects and profiles possible producers. Supports producer’s sales needs while building strong relationships.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking. Conduct
      highly effective prospecting to attract qualified agents to meet sales goals. 
    • Grow long term care insurance sales by working in coordination with Territory Sales Manager to maximize
      customer service and relationships. 
    • Manage broker/dealers, brokerage firms, financial planners, banks, and/or independent agents for
      Long Term care products.
    • Create, plan and execute sales campaigns including utilization of sales aids and promotional material.
      Executing sales campaigns and monitors to ensure sales objectives are achieved.
    • Identify client needs and suggests product offerings and marketing strategies.

Requirements:

    • 5 years of insurance sales experience, preferably with long-term care products.
    • Proven track record of success through achieving/exceeding assigned sales goals. 
    • Strong account management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
    • Proficient in using technology for sales purposes (e.g., Salesforce)
    • Superior sales skills with a results-oriented focus.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
    • Must have or willing to obtain a valid Health/Life License in state of residency.
    • Ability to travel, including overnight stays.
